CITY KID was originally produced at the Village Theatre in Seattle. CITY KID then made its Los Angeles debut with a sold out run at the Hudson Theater in Hollywood. Most recently, NJPAC mounted a workshop performance under the direction of Savion Glover. CITY KID has won recognition by the Ovation Awards, NAACP Awards, and the LA Weekly Awards.

Adrienne is a Grammy Award nominated songwriter with megahits, including “Could It Be Magic, “Daybreak” (BARRY MANILOW), “Deja vu” (DIONNE WARWICK), and “I Go to Rio” (PETER ALLEN). She has also collaborated with icons such as Isaac Hayes, Burt Bacharach, Sergio Mendes, Bob Gaudio, Leon Ware, and Melissa Manchester. Her songs have been covered by numerous artists, including DONNA SUMMER, and sampled by COLDPLAY, GUNNA, and DRAKE.

Adrienne created City Kid to give voice to youth in crisis everywhere and she hopes this show will help them as they try to find their way.

Peter and Rick are Grammy Award nominated songwriters and music producers with over 75 million records sold. Their hits include “Steal Away” (Robbie Dupree), “Break My Stride” (Matthew Wilder), and “New Attitude” (PATTI LaBELLE). Other notable collaborations include John Prine, Syretta Wright, Steve Goodman, Smokey Robinson, THE TEMPTATIONS, Kenny G, and Michael Bolton. Rick also co-wrote Alison Krauss’s Grammy Award winning song, “Somewhere in the Vicinity of the Heart.” He remains passionate about finding the essence of artist and song. 

Peter has played with Ringo Starr and Tina Turner, while his production company has collaborated with some of music’s most popular figures, including HARRY STYLES, CAMILA CABELLO, SHAWN MENDES, MAROON 5, and KATY PERRY. Peter has also toured around the world with Playing for Change, a nonprofit using music to break down boundaries and overcome differences that divide us.

Sammy is a theatre producer and co-founder of both The Industry Standard Group and the Tony Award winning company, P3 Productions. Recent production credits include “Orlando” (West End), “A Strange Loop” (Broadway), “The Kite Runner” (Broadway & National Tour), “A Christmas Carol” (Broadway & National Tour), and “Be More Chill” (On & Off-Broadway). As a recipient of The Shubert Organization’s Artistic Circle and Rising Star Fellowship with The Broadway League, Sammy is passionate about bringing to life thought-provoking stories with strong values.
